All requests for permits for buildings to be used for public purposes must be accompanied by plans and specifications, including plot plan, approved by a registered architect or structural engineer licensed to operate in the State of Illinois. I/We hereby agree to construct the above described building in accordance with the plat, building plans and specifications submitted herewith and in strict compliance with all provisions of the International Buidling Code, 2006 Edition; International Existing Building Code, 2006 Edition; International Residential Code for One and Two Dwellings, 2006 Edition; International Mechanical Code, 2006 Edition; International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 Edition; NFPA 70: National Electric Code, 2008 Edition; International Fire Code, 2006 Edition; NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, 2006 Edition; Article 5, 7, 9, 17, and 21 of the Revised Code of Ordinances of the City of Mt. Vernon; Illinois Smoke Detector Law and all other applicable State and Federal Laws. Copies of the above Codes and Ordinances adopted by the City of Mt. Vernon are on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
